Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, teaching, and evaluating education programs for nursing and other departments within the District. Works with managers to address educational needs and may conduct much of the education personally. Supervisors the Education/Staffing Coordinator; provides oversight for Policy/Procedure Committee and coordinates students within the clinical departments. BSN and RN-C required. Two years experience in education or teaching in a healthcare environment. Requires 3-5 years acute care experience. ACLS, BLS, and PALS instructor status required (or willing to obtain). TNCC and NRP instructor status preferred.
