HOSPITAL MEDICINE

Our Hospital Medicine Program provides full-time, inpatient medical care. PMH’s on-staff hospitalists are both internal medicine trained and board certified. They admit and treat patients with a broad range of medical conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and diabetic related complications, pulmonary diseases, infectious diseases, and more.

Hospitalists work closely with primary care providers, therapists, surgeons, nurses and other hospital departments to facilitate the most effective treatment options. They also evaluate patients prior to surgery to assess and stabilize chronic medical conditions. The Hospital Medicine Program exists to ensure the finest patient care experience overall.
